Associate Customer Experience Specialists

We have set up our first Customer Experience Support Center in Northampton, MA near the legions of craft makers, fans, and next generation talent to help craft survive and thrive. We are currently seeking part-time Associate Customer Experience Specialists. You will be part of a highly customer-centric team with the mission of continually exceeding customer expectations. Reporting to the Director of Customer Experience, you will be part of a team that is designed to educate, technically support and train our customers on a new software platform that changes the way they currently do business.
Requirements
  • BS Technical or Business (or moving toward it).
  • 0-3 years Information Management; Software Engineering, coding, or software sales; or prior experience in call center environment supporting software applications.
  • Ability to follow clearly defined processes and procedures to resolve customer issues.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be flexible, detailed oriented, organized, able to multi-task, analyze data and resolve customer concerns.
  • A passion for exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities
  • Learning and becoming highly knowledgeable with Ninkasi’s platforms and platform functionality.
  • Becoming a champion with troubleshooting, problem escalation, and support processes.
  • Understanding industry (user) business practices and processes.
  • Ensuring client response times and problem resolution goals are achieved.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with customers ranging from Distributors, Brewers and Retailers.
  • Providing front-line support to customers for general platform software issues and business technology guidance.
  • Reading and researching relevant training and industry materials and resources to stay current with business needs and industry.

Software Developer

We are looking for a Software Developer responsible for developing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development and refactoring of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements into the application, and should have an understanding of front-end technologies as well.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming.
  • Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
  • Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
  • Solid grasp of writing and understanding SQL queries.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

Front End Developer

The Front End Developer is focused on producing high quality shippable code within a given release cycle. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a cross functional team of engineers, quality assurance testers, and business analysts using lean agile practices. Successful candidates will understand the concepts related to CSS, JavaScript, and HTML. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to expand their technical excellence. The Front End Developer will work closely with the CTO as well as the Lead Developer.
Requirements
  • Strong skills in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks.
  • CSS pre-processors (SASS, LESS).
  • Mobile-friendly (responsive/adaptive) development.
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills.
  • Proven skills in working with stakeholders to refine product requirements to be realized in software.
  • Diagnose, plan, and implement fixes to software bugs or design flaws.
  • Ability to plan and manage your own work to meet deadlines.
  • Approximately 3-5 years professional experience.
